January 2010 lecture

Nick Livingstone

Our first lecture of 2010 takes place on 22nd January at BAWA, and is an illustrated talk by Dick Richardson on 'The Rise and Fall of the Strathallan Collection'. This museum, located in Perthshire in Scotland, was wound up in 1988, and had an enviable collection of aircraft, some airworthy, including a Lancaster, Mosquito, Hurricane, Lysander and Hudson. Dick flew the Lancaster from Canada to Strathallan in 1975.

It take place at the BAWA Leisure Centre, Southmead Road, Filton, and starts at 7:15pm. Our Winter lecture series are intended for members, but non-members are welcome to come along and find out about membership.
