Aerospace Bristol features fully equipped learning spaces with specialist facilities for school and youth groups. We have worked with our partners from the aerospace industry to develop an inspiring and practical learning programme which will not only allow visitors to explore our amazing local history story but develop STEM skills and discover the possibilities of a career in engineering.

We blend history and storytelling with STEM learning as pupils design and test their own paper aeroplane, exploring the history of ﬂight. Find out more >

Discover the physics behind why rockets have been championing space travel and exploration for decades. Use this learning to develop your own rockets, testing and improving it throughout the session. Find out more >
With the centenary of World War One just around the corner, we are offering a special activity day for students in Key Stage 2, 3 or 4 to come a join us at the museum to learn about the impact Bristol had during the War. They will get to participate in a hands on workshop, creating prototypes for equipment to help save WW1 pilots’ lives. They will also get to listen to a special spotlight talk in the WW1 era of the exhibition and make a poppy that will be included in our remembrance display. Reception to Year 5: 1 adult to every 6 children

Year 9 to Year 13: 1 adult to every 10 children
