Aerospace Bristol celebrates Volunteers’ Week

This Volunteers’ Week, Aerospace Bristol is shining a spotlight on the remarkable individuals who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to the museum.

Aerospace Bristol, home to a vast collection of aviation history and heritage, relies heavily on its team of volunteers and their impact is felt in every corner of the museum.

From guiding tours and assisting with exhibits to supporting events and performing essential behind-the-scenes work, these volunteers help the museum run smoothly and provide an engaging experience for all visitors.

One volunteer, Greg Malpas, shared their perspective: “I’ve been volunteering here since the museum first opened. The best part about being here is actually interacting with the visitors and answering their questions.”

Adam Jones, Head of Marketing and Commercial Operations said: “our volunteers are the backbone of Aerospace Bristol. Their passion for aerospace and dedication to our mission is inspiring. We simply couldn’t achieve what we do without their incredible efforts.”

As we celebrate Volunteers Week, Aerospace Bristol extends a heartfelt thank you to all its volunteers, the museum is profoundly grateful for everything they do. This week, and every week, we honour the extraordinary contributions volunteers make.
