A Tasty Time Travel Adventure
Saturday 5th April - Sunday 27th April
Take on a series of food-themed challenges and uncover the meals that pilots and passengers enjoyed at key moments in aviation history.
Go on an adventure through time, starting with the steaming thermoses of Bovril on early Bristol Scout flights, to the astronaut ice cream eaten today, and the luxury dining experienced on Concorde.
Complete all the challenges to claim your chocolate prize!
Home Education Day
Wednesday, 23rd April | 10am - 3pm
Visit us for Home Education Day and participate in our interactive STEM workshops and a guided tour of the Heritage Hangar to explore our fascinating exhibition.
In the Lights, Camera, Discover workshop (ages 5-11), learn how light travels and create a periscope. With Light Fantastic (ages 12+) you can build your own spectrometer to investigate light from the cosmos and understand the universe.
Enjoy a guided tour showcasing over a century of Bristol’s achievements in aviation, from early Bristol Boxkites to futuristic designs.
Both workshops will take place in minimal to no light for a prolonged period.
Please note, adult supervisors do not need to buy a ticket for workshops or tours, but a valid ticket is required for museum entry.
Story Cafe at Aerospace Bristol
Mondays during term time |10 am - 10:30 am | Aerospace Bristol
Join us between 10:00 am to 10:30 am every Monday during term time when Aerospace Bristol’s learning team will be reading a story in the museum cafe, Flightline Kitchen + Bar.
Story Cafe is suitable for children aged 12 months to 4 years old, but all are welcome. Sessions are free to attend and museum admission is not required.

As well as hearing a story (while the grown-ups enjoy a coffee!), there’s also a colouring station, children’s books, and a fantastic outdoor play area to enjoy.
