Our STEM workshops suitable for mixed ages:
Blast off Rockets: (suitable for both younger and older learners)
Uncover the physics of escaping the Earth. Discover the science behind how rockets are shaped and powered for space travel. Create, test and optimise your own rocket design ready for launch.
- Science (Physics)
Mission to Mars: Cracking Coding (suitable for younger learners)
In this interactive workshop, put your scratch coding skills to the test by trying to complete a research mission on Mars. Once you have successfully programmed their Mars rover to collect rock samples, you will work scientifically to investigate which Martian material will be best for building homes on the planet.
- Computing (Coding), Maths and Science (Space, Chemical Reactions)
Mission to Mars: Winning Prototypes (suitable for older learners)
Look to the future of aerospace engineering by developing a prototype of a new Mars rover. Work as a team to design, build and test a Mars rover. Compete with your classmates to meet the criteria of a design brief and produce the best prototype for the mission.
