Discover Aerospace Bristol After Hours!

Bring your youth group along for an exclusive evening visit to Aerospace Bristol, where you’ll journey through over a century of aviation history and go on board Concorde Alpha Foxtrot.

When? The last Tuesday of every month

Workshops

Early years and Key Stage 1

We blend history and storytelling with STEM learning as pupils design and test their own paper aeroplane, exploring the history of flight. Find out more >

Key Stage 2

Explore the physics of rocketry before designing and testing their very own rockets - just like the engineers of Filton’s Dynamics and Space Division! Find out more >

Key Stage 3

Discover how aircraft changed and developed during WW1 and the key role that Bristol played and design and test your own parachute prototype for WW1 pilots in this fun and hands-on session. Find out more >

Guided Tours

The Concorde Tour

Join us to learn about the supersonic superstar that is Concorde, just across the runway from where all British Concordes were built. As you walk around the last Concorde to be built and the last to fly, we’ll take you on a journey all the way from Concorde’s beginnings in the 1950s to its retirement in 2003.

  • Duration: Approximately 45 minutes

The Heritage Tour

Take off on a journey through more than 100 years of Bristol’s aerospace history. Find out how a small, pioneering company manufactured some of the earliest aeroplanes at Filton, evolved over the decades to influence the course of aviation history and shaped the world we see today.

  • Duration: Approximately 45 minutes

Workshops

Additional £3 per child
Workshops are priced per child for groups of 20 or more. For groups of less than 20 children, a flat fee of £60 applies.

Guided Tours

Additional £6 per child, per tour
Tours are priced per child, per tour for groups of 20 or more. Please get in touch to discuss prices for smaller groups.
