Sir George White Bt., F.S.A
Sir George White Bt., F.S.A., Vice Patron, is great grandson of Sir George White 1st Bt. (1854-1916), the founder of the Bristol Aeroplane Company. He is grandson Sir G. Stanley White (1882-1964), joint founder, who served as managing director from 1911 to 1955. He is the son of Sir George S.M. White Bt. (1913-1983), joint managing director and instigator of the Bristol Car Division. Sir George is an historian and museum curator.

Jack Lopresti MP
Jack Lopresti was the MP for Filton and Bradley Stoke from 2010 to 2024. During his time in the House of Commons, he showed an interest in defence and aerospace and was elected to roles in several All Party Parliamentary Groups, including serving as Vice Chairman for Military Matters for the Aviation APPG. Jack served on the Defence Select Committee as well as the Conservative Party’s backbench Defence Committee in Parliament.
Jack’s commitment and passion for these issues date back many years but have become especially important to him after he completed a tour of duty in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in 2008-09 with 29 Commando RA. Having grown up around Bristol and spent all his life here, he is immensely proud to represent an area that has made such an immense contribution to the defence and aerospace industries through world leading companies, such as Rolls Royce, BAE and Boeing.
