Join Aerospace Bristol on select dates throughout December for an unforgettable christmas experience! Immerse yourself in the magic of the cosmos with the Dome Club Planetarium, featuring the Christmas Star show with a live planetarium presentation and The Holy Star 360° film.

Explore the winter constellations and planets illuminating the heavens, and uncover the mystery of the Star of Bethlehem, which heralded the birth of Christ over 2,000 years ago.

Travel back in time to ancient Bethlehem to learn about this celestial marvel and discover the lesser-known facts about its nature and timing. Plus, ask your questions about the Christmas Star during the Q&A.

The Christmas Star: Live Planetarium Presentation is 40 minutes long and is recommended for children aged 6+.

The Holy Star 360° Film

In the Dome Club Planetarium

Experience a stunning night sky that begins with a breathtaking sunset, followed by the unveiling of over 1,300 twinkling stars, the magnificent Milky Way, and enchanting shooting stars.

Dive into the 22-minute film, The Holy Star, which explores the mysteries of the Star of Bethlehem—was it a miracle, myth, or something else? Journey through time with awe-inspiring visuals of comets, novae, and supernovae.

The film concludes with a Q&A session, where you can ask about the Christmas Star or any cosmic wonders!

The Holy Star 360° Film is 30 minutes long and is recommended for children aged 9+.


Aerospace Bristol’s Christmas Workshop

Sunday 1st December - Monday 23rd December

This festive season, step into Aerospace Bristol's Christmas Workshop, set within the historic Conservation Hangar. Hop aboard a real Bristol Freighter for an imaginary flight to the North Pole and send your Christmas wish list straight to Santa!

Access to Aerospace Bristol’s Christmas Workshop is included with museum admission.


Concord Church Carol Service

Sunday 15th December, 5.30 pm - 6.30pm

Concord Church will host its annual carol service alongside Concorde on Sunday, 15th December. This free community event welcomes attendees of all ages and features festive treats such as mince pies and mulled wine available for purchase from the museum café. There will also be festive crafts for children to get involved in.

Doors will open at 5 pm, and the carol service will begin at 5:30 pm.


Buy your Christmas Tree at Aerospace Bristol

From 20th November

Frenchay Forestry will be selling their beautiful Christmas trees in the Aerospace Bristol car park again this year, starting on 20th November.

As a special offer, customers who purchase a Christmas tree can enjoy 15% off anything in the gift shop when they present their Frenchay Forestry receipt. Additionally, shoppers in the gift store can receive 10% off their Christmas tree by showing their gift shop receipt.

For every tree sold, Frenchay Forestry makes a donation to the museum.
