Join the Concorde club

Sponsor your own special piece of Concorde Alpha Foxtrot; a wing leading edge screw, a cockpit instrument panel or a seat on one of the aircraft’s iconic routes.

By showing your support for Aerospace Bristol you will be making a vital contribution to the future of the museum, helping us to inspire the engineers of the future.

In recognition of your generosity, you will receive a range of special benefits, including a limited edition golden Aerospace Bristol pin badge, an invitation to a special event and a dedication alongside Concorde Alpha Foxtrot.

Concorde’s preservation at Aerospace Bristol captures so many things: not only personal memories, but pride in Bristol, a sense of human achievement, and the celebration of a creation that moves people to tears. What other machine can do that? She played a huge part in the lives of Bristol people: those who designed and built her, the lucky ones who flew in her, and the many people who looked out for her to fly overhead every day. We never, ever tired of watching her, and it was a dark day when she was finally grounded. To be able to visit her and walk around her in the Concorde hangar is like visiting a dearly loved old friend - she still puts a bit of a sparkle on our day whenever we see her, and I’m so happy to help support her.

Sponsorship opportunities

Concorde leading edge screw

Concorde’s wings have sections of leading edge screws - sponsor one to receive a special certificate in your name recording your unique location. For just £12 this is the perfect gift for a loved one.

Sponsor a seat on Concorde

Sponsor a seat on board Concorde Alpha Foxtrot to commemorate someone special and keep the spirit of the supersonic British icon alive.  It is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, pay tribute to a colleague, give a surprise birthday gift, or to remember a flight.

By giving a donation you could sponsor a seat on one of Concorde’s iconic routes; a scenic supersonic trip around the Bay of Biscay at 12.38pm on the 2nd May 1998, or the first ever London Heathrow to New York trip by G-BOAF setting out at 8.28am on the 15th June 1980.

Dedicating your seat

Your chosen dedication will feature on our ‘Departure Board’ in the Concorde hangar. Each message is personalised, but you may be inspired by some of our existing dedications such as:

In memory of all those who created, flew, and maintained the dream
A seat for Patricia Ridgway
Michael Pearson, may Concorde always fly in your dreams. Never forget! Love Debbie

Sponsor a seat in our John James Lecture Theatre

If you love what we are creating at Aerospace Bristol or want to remember someone who did, what better way to show it than by sponsoring a seat in our John James Theatre? The lecture theatre has 146 seats and is situated alongside Concorde Alpha Foxtrot in the Concorde hangar. This first class space is frequently used for a range of exciting events, including specialist talks, lectures, and special corporate occasions.

With a donation of £1,000, you can sponsor a seat in the John James Lecture Theatre, and show your support for Aerospace Bristol’s aim to inspire the generation of today to develop the ideas of tomorrow.

“I joined BAC at Filton in 1964, aged 18, and had a wonderful training in this fascinating industry. Sponsoring a seat is a small way of saying thank you.”

— Lindsey Henniker-Heaton, Lecture Theatre Seat Supporter
