Local Learning are keeping their tradition alive of telling true stories of people who have lived, worked, and grown up in Filton, Patchway and Southmead that are then woven into a theatre show and performed live by local residents, students and volunteers. Meadows to Meaders 6: BAC in Time will focus on local stories from 1940s wartime to 1970s around the BAC, the Brabazon and the lost village of Charlton as well as memories of Concorde’s early flights.
Join us to celebrate local talent and the spirit of storytelling within our community.
Doors open at 6:45pm, show starts at 7:00pm until 8:30pm.
Important Information
This is a BSL interpreted performance.
There will be an interval with a bar open for light refreshments.
Due to the duration of the show we recommend ages 10+, younger children are welcome with parental discretion.
The VE 80 Project
This performance is part of our VE 80 project where we worked with the local community to gather stories about their wartime experiences. The stories have been curated into an online, interactive story map for all to explore and a new exhibition in our museum from 8 May 2026.
