New Trustee Positions at Aerospace Bristol

Aerospace Bristol is looking for four new Trustees and a new Chair of the Trading Board to join the museum at a truly exciting time, and help us on our mission to promote STEM learning, inspire future generations, and conserve Bristol's aerospace heritage.

We are particularly keen to recruit individuals with knowledge or experience of finance, accountancy, primary or secondary education and STEM outreach. We would also love to talk to those who have worked with museums, collections or archives, visitor attractions, or planning and development.

As a Trustee of Aerospace Bristol, you will help to set the strategic direction of the charity, support the management of our physical and financial resources, operations and structure, monitor our performance and help us to grow and develop.

Separately, the Chair of Trading will provide valuable oversight, leadership and governance for the commercial operations of Trading, which ultimately supports Trust in its charitable objectives.  

We aim to have a diverse board of trustees with people from a wide range of backgrounds and professions with different experiences of life. We know that a diverse board will help us to become a successful and sustainable organisation. We would particularly welcome applications from younger, disabled and LGBTQ+ people as well as those of Black, African, Asian or other global majority backgrounds.
