Generous support from Airbus and Aviation Heritage UK

Aerospace Bristol was delighted to once again welcome representatives from Airbus and Aviation Heritage UK to the museum to receive a donation of £15,000. This generous contribution forms part of a three-year commitment to support the museum’s mission of preserving and sharing aviation history.

Nicole Squire, Head of Fundraising & Partnerships Aerospace Bristol said:

“It’s fantastic to be working so closely with Airbus, and this donation demonstrates the value of long-term partnerships. We are incredibly grateful for their support and look forward to delivering more innovative projects together in the future.”

This second instalment marks the close of a year of growing collaboration between Aerospace Bristol and Airbus, with joint projects ranging from photography to a sustainable aviation project to help enhance the museum’s learning programme.

Allan Winn from Aviation Heritage UK said:

"Museums in general - and aviation museums more than most - are working under unprecedented levels of financial pressure, as costs rise inexorably, visitors' discretionary spending power is constantly eroded and many traditional funding streams dry up. In this environment it is immensely gratifying that the sector representative group Aviation Heritage UK, thanks to the generous support of Airbus, is able to provide much-needed funding to Aerospace Bristol and other aeronautical museums. These museums work hard, not only to preserve and interpret great aircraft of the past, but also tell the stories of the people who designed, built and flew them, and to inspire the next generations to reach the heights of their own potential."

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Airbus and Aviation Heritage UK for their continued generosity and commitment to aviation heritage. Together, we’re ensuring that the stories of flight inspire and educate for years to come.
