One of a kind Mother’s Day experience at Aerospace Bristol

This Mother’s Day, treat mum to more than just a meal – give her a piece of aviation history.

Home to the last Concorde ever to fly, Aerospace Bristol invites you to celebrate Mother’s Day with a special Sunday lunch underneath the iconic supersonic jet on Sunday, 30th March.

The aircraft will serve as the stunning backdrop for a family-friendly dining experience, featuring a traditional Sunday roast with child-friendly options, alongside the standard café menu.

Sian Smith, General Manager at Fosters, said, “Hosting this special lunch in our Café under Concorde is a fantastic opportunity. It’s a truly unique setting for a Mother’s Day roast, and we’re excited to showcase the best of our local produce.”

The experience extends beyond the table. Families can step aboard the last Concorde ever to fly, once capable of twice the speed of sound. Special spotlight talks on Women in Aviation will also be held in the museum’s Aerospace Galleries and Concorde Hangar, celebrating the lasting impact of women in aviation.

Megan Christo, Volunteering and Community Manager, added: “The Mother’s Day Sunday Lunch is a wonderful way for the museum to bring people together. Concorde holds such significance for many, and dining beneath it makes the occasion even more memorable.”
