This Easter, Aerospace Bristol is inviting families on an unforgettable journey through aviation history, complete with chocolate rewards, exciting challenges, and a brand-new dining experience.
Chocs Away! A Tasty Time Travel Adventure
From April 5th to 27th, visitors can embark on the 'Chocs Away!' adventure, where they take on a series of fun, food-themed challenges. Those who complete all the tasks will be treated to a delicious chocolate prize—making this the perfect Easter activity for all ages.
Flightline Kitchen+Bar,
Adding to the excitement, on Saturday, 5th April Aerospace Bristol is also unveiling its newest culinary offering: the Flightline Kitchen + Bar. Opening its doors this Saturday, the café will serve a locally sourced, seasonal menu providing a perfect refuelling stop for museum-goers.
Joystick Club Pedal Plane, Tuesday, 8th – Thursday, 10th April
For the youngest aviators, Aerospace Bristol is hosting a special event from April 8th to 10th, where under-5s can take the captain’s seat in miniature pedal planes. This imaginative experience will let little pilots navigate their own airborne adventure, ensuring an unforgettable time for toddlers and their families.
Droop Nose Demonstration, Wednesday, 9th April, 12pm
In addition to these exciting Easter activities, visitors can enjoy special Concorde events this month. On April 9th, witness a live Droop Nose demonstration to commemorate the anniversary of the first British Concorde flight (April 9, 1969), with Captain Colin Morris operating the controls. This unique experience is included with museum admission.
Concorde: Meet the Crew Q&A, Saturday, 12th April, 12:30-2:30pm.
Then, on April 12th, aviation enthusiasts can join an exclusive Concorde Crew Q&A session featuring Captain Les Brodie, Captain Colin Morris, former Concorde cabin crew member Neil Smith.
