FLY THROUGH HISTORY TOURS - Kids go free!

Visit on Saturday 24th August and take off on a journey through Bristol's illustrious aerospace history. From the earliest pioneers of aviation, through two World Wars, the space race, and on to the iconic Concorde, before you step aboard the supersonic jet.
Kids go free! Tours last approximately one hour and are available to purchase on the day for only £5 per person, but kids can join the tour for free*! Spaces are limited so arrive early, together with a valid museum ticket, to secure your place.
*All adults and children must have a valid museum ticket - and all adults require a Fly Through History tour ticket - in order to attend this event.

Storytime & Spotlight talks

Uncover fascinating stories behind a selection of our exhibits with special Spotlight Talks this Bank Holiday Sunday. Discover more about the Bristol Brabazon, the ingenuity behind Concorde’s Nose and the important role of Filton in the history of aviation. Talks are free to join as part of your admissions ticket.

And for our younger visitors we will have a special story time session at 13.15, free to join with a valid admission ticket. It's the perfect activity for under-5s to enjoy this Bank Holiday Sunday.

SEE CONCORDE’S NOSE DROOP

Join us this Bank Holiday Monday for a very special operation of the Concorde droop nose at 1pm. Concorde's droop nose was designed to give pilots better visibility during takeoff and landing, and you could be here to see it, free for you to watch as part of your museum admission. Watch this special event and then enjoy a Spotlight Talk and learn all about this incredible piece of engineering.
We will also feature a number of Spotlight Talks throughout the day - all free to join with a valid museum ticket:
