Aerospace Bristol is thrilled to announce a series of festive planetarium shows, including the enchanting Christmas Star: Live Planetarium Presentation and the captivating Holy Star 360° Film, both in partnership with Dome Club Planetarium.
The Christmas Star: Live Planetarium Presentation invites visitors to explore the winter constellations and planets illuminating the night sky. In this 40-minute show, audiences will uncover the mystery of the Star of Bethlehem, which heralded the birth of Christ over 2,000 years ago. Attendees will travel back in time to ancient Bethlehem to learn about this celestial marvel, with a Q&A session allowing for discussions on the Christmas Star and other celestial topics.
In addition, The Holy Star 360° Film offers a stunning visual journey that begins with a breathtaking sunset and unveils over 1,300 twinkling stars, the magnificent Milky Way, and enchanting shooting stars. This 30-minute film delves into the mysteries surrounding the Star of Bethlehem—was it a miracle, a myth, or something else entirely? Featuring awe-inspiring visuals of comets, novae, and supernovae. The film will also conclude with a Q&A session for curious minds eager to explore the mysteries of the Christmas Star.
