Captain of Concorde’s Final Flight Marks Anniversary at Aerospace Bristol

Aerospace Bristol hosted an eventful weekend celebrating the legacy of Concorde. Captain Colin Morris joined guests for the After-Hours Tour on Saturday, while Sunday saw Captain Les Brodie marking the anniversary of Concorde's final flight with two nose droops.

Captain Brodie then moved to the Concorde Exhibition, where he engaged with visitors who shared their personal connections to the legendary aircraft. Among them was a budding student aspiring to become an aerospace engineer, who spoke to Les about her A-Level project on Concorde.

Captain Brodie delighted the audience with stories and anecdotes, including his humorous reflection on how the supersonic aircraft has "kept him young." Noting the unique time shift from leaving Heathrow at 10:30 am and arriving in New York at 9 am, he joked that after 15 years of gaining an hour and a half daily, he has to dye his hair to match his actual age.
