Aerospace Bristol Commemorates The 21st Anniversary of Concorde's Final Flight
Today, we remember a momentous milestone in aviation history – the final flight of Concorde, 21 years ago. On this day in 2003, Concorde G-BOAF, captained by Les Brodie, departed from London Heathrow, soared over the Bay of Biscay, and flew gracefully above the Clifton Suspension Bridge before touching down at Filton – its birthplace.
Last weekend, we were honoured to commemorate this historic event at Aerospace Bristol, joined by Concorde’s longest-serving Captain, Colin Morris, and final flight Captain, Les Brodie. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us celebrate the legacy of this iconic aircraft.
