Aerospace Bristol offer local primary and secondary state schools free coach travel!
State primary and secondary schools in South Gloucestershire now have the opportunity to claim a coach travel bursary of up to £1,000 when booking a school visit to Aerospace Bristol.
This initiative, made possible through funding from South Gloucestershire Council, aims to welcome more students to Aerospace Bristol to explore over a century of aerospace history and participate in hands-on STEM workshops.
Aerospace Bristol’s Fundraising Manager, Nicole Squire says, “We're delighted with the support from South Gloucestershire Council which helps to lessen the impact of rising costs that schools are experiencing so many more children can enjoy the wonders that await them at Aerospace Bristol.”
She further adds, “School visits to museums are vital for inspiring young minds and offering hands-on learning. These visits are key in applying classroom lessons to the real world. With the support from South Gloucestershire Council, we’re able to increase such visits and lessen the impact of rising costs on schools. “
During the last school year, Aerospace Bristol set a new record by hosting over 13,000 students for school visits. From engaging interactive workshops to fascinating exhibits, the museum offers students an immersive experience in aviation history and a chance to witness science in action.
