Inspiring the next generation of engineers at Aerospace Bristol
Aerospace Bristol remains dedicated to breaking down barriers and inspiring the next generation of engineers. The museum is continuously working to ignite a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through innovative learning programmes and resources.
Thanks to funding from South Gloucestershire Council, Aerospace Bristol has made significant strides in achieving this mission. The funding has provided travel bursaries to local schools, enabling more students to engage in hands-on scientific experiments that connect directly to their classroom lessons.
Donations from the Engineering Futures Appeal has also allowed the museum to enhance its learning materials, upgrading to iPads, laptops, robots, and rockets. Additionally, Aerospace Bristol has expanded its support for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) pupils by adapting workshops and materials, including creating resources for visually impaired students and offering personalised sessions for special education groups.
As a steward of Bristol’s pioneering contributions to aviation, Aerospace Bristol offers a range of learning programmes designed to spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of STEM among students of all ages.
The museum extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported its journey, as these contributions are instrumental in shaping the STEM professionals of tomorrow.
