‘Look Up!’ exhibition showcases Concorde hot air balloon seats
As part of ‘Look Up! The Story of Hot Air Ballooning in Bristol’, Aerospace Bristol has Concorde hot air balloon seats on display alongside Concorde Alpha Foxtrot, the last Concorde ever to fly.
These seats were removed from a British Airways Concorde in 2000 and are now the last airworthy part of any Concorde. They regularly fly underneath Captain Tim Orchard's hot air balloon with either himself of his daughter, Marie in command.
The Concorde hot air balloon seats will be on display throughout the summer until Sunday, September 1st.
In addition to the Concorde hot air balloon seats, the museum features a variety of exhibits and balloon-themed activities for the summer, including Britain's first modern hot air balloon, The Bristol Belle, and its original burner.
