Aerospace Bristol Hosts Concord Church's International Hub for Community and Connection

Aerospace Bristol is hosting the Concord Church's International Hub for its second week since reopening on 3rd September. Held at the museum’s café every Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm during term time, the Hub provides a welcoming space for anyone looking to make friends, build community, and improve their English.

The sessions offer a range of support and activities, including ESOL classes with a qualified English language teacher, crafts for children, a free hot meal, and employment support workshops. Since its launch earlier this year, the Hub has grown from 5 guests and 1 child to 25 attendees and 9 children. To date, over 620 meals have been served, and in its busiest week, 38 people came together to share in the community spirit.

Attendees have expressed why they enjoy the Hub, with one person saying, “International Hub meetings are a great opportunity for learning, cultural exchange, and making new connections.” Another added, "Trying to learn the Farsi words for the game Dobble creates much laughter amongst the children!"

There is no need to sign up in advance—if you’d like to join, feel free to turn up any Tuesday. For any questions, you can email internationalhub@concordchurch.co.uk.
