Former Royal New Zealand Air Force members reunite with the Bristol Freighter
On Wednesday, 25th September, Former pilots for the Royal New Zealand Air Force were reunited with the Birstol Freighter.
Graham Stagg and Bryan Franklin travelled all the way from New Zealand to see the aeroplane they flew many times, on dislay in the Conservation Workshop.
Both Graham and Bryan were in the Royal New Zealand Air Force 41st Squadron and hold special memories with Bristol Freighter.
While Bryan has been to Aerospace Bristol before, Graham was delighted to see the Freighter in the museum’s Conservation in Action workshop, where the aircraft is stored. Graham said: “It’s brilliant, It was real battlewagon of a plane”.
