Chocs Away!: How Do Astronauts Drink in Space?

Go on a tasty time travel adventure with the Chocs Away! food trail this Easter. Discover the fascinating history of aviation through the food pilots and passengers enjoyed at pivotal moments in flight.

As part of the food trail, visitors will get an exclusive look at the Capillary Cup – a unique invention by NASA astronaut Donald Pettit. This open drinking container, designed to work in microgravity, offers a glimpse into how astronauts hydrate on the International Space Station.

The use of complex fluid dynamic geometry allows astronauts to experience hydration similar to that of on Earth.

Chocs Away! A Tasty Time Travel Adventure will run from Saturday 5th April until Sunday 27th April.
