Aerospace Bristol to Host Live 1940s Music and Swing Jazz this May Bank Holiday
This May Bank Holiday, visitors to Aerospace Bristol will be treated to a selection of 1940s classics and swing jazz performed by Filton Concert Brass.
On Sunday 4th May, the band will play wartime favourites such as Lambeth Walk, Dambusters, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, and White Cliffs of Dover.
The day will also feature upbeat 1940s swing jazz, including Ella Fitzgerald’s It Don’t Mean a Thing (If You Ain’t Got That Swing), Let’s Face the Music and Dance, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by The Andrews Sisters, and Benny Goodman’s Sing, Sing, Sing.
