One Week to Go Until Spirit of '45: A VE Day 80 Celebration at Aerospace Bristol

There’s just one week to go until Spirit of '45, a special VE Day 80 celebration at Aerospace Bristol. This May Bank Holiday, visitors will be transported back to 1945 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day with live music, dancing, family fun, and fascinating stories from the historic site.

Highlights include the first public viewing of the Bolingbroke 9048 as it is rolled out of the Conservation workshop, the opening of the new Filton Blitz Experience, and plenty of street party vibes. Visitors are encouraged to dress to impress in their best 1940s outfits for a chance to win a prize.
