Aerospace Bristol to Host 1940s-Themed Street Party This May Bank Holiday

Aerospace Bristol is inviting visitors to step back in time this May Bank Holiday with a Spirit of ’45 street party, taking place on Sunday 4th and Monday 5th May.

Highlights include the public debut of the museum’s restored air raid shelter and the rolling out of the historic Bolingbroke aircraft. Visitors can also enjoy a cream tea, 1940s-themed games, and family-friendly activities across both days.

On Monday, guests will have the chance to join a lindy hop dance class, meet a Winston Churchill re-enactor delivering wartime speeches, and take part in a 1940s costume competition with prizes for the best-dressed.
