Where you take the controls in the Concorde simulator
Ever wondered what it would feel like to sit in the Captain’s seat of Concorde?
Families have the unique chance to step into the cockpit of the Concorde simulator and experience the thrill of flying one of the world’s most famous aircraft over the Filton area.
For children (and grown-ups!) to try out their pilot skills. Don’t forget to grab a photo while you’re there!
Hands-on fun under Concorde
There’s plenty to keep creative little ones busy with activities taking place beneath the iconic aircraft itself.
Design your own Bristol Freighter livery
Put your imagination to the test and create your own design for the Bristol Freighter’s Livery. This self-led activity is available every day, for the chance to dream up colourful creations and unique aircraft designs.
Craft sessions with the crew
Join in with craft sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 11am–3pm. Families can get stuck into fun hands-on activities and create something to take home to remember their day.
Step into the Dome Club Planetarium
Prepare for a fully immersive experience inside a spectacular 360° dome.
This family-friendly planetarium has three shows availble to choose from including Cockpit Command which lets you experience flight through a pilot’s eyes using real cockpit footage and live storytelling. Along the way, families can explore aviation, space travel and the wonder of the skies above.
It’s a brilliant experience for children who love space, planes and discovering how things work.
