Concorde: an introduction to its concept, design and features
Monday 30th march, 12pm - 1pm
Former Aircraft Engineer, and Aerospace Bristol volunteer, Dennis Ryan explores the pioneering technology behind Concorde. How did British and French engineers do what nobody else could and design the only successful supersonic passenger aircraft the world has ever seen?
Entry is free but you must have a valid museum ticket - as well as your free ticket to the lunchtime talk - in order to attend this event.
30th March 12pm-1pm (please arrive by 11.45am for an 12pm prompt start)
Pre-booking is highly recommended to secure your free place and avoid disappointment. A limited number of tickets to attend the talk will be available on the day on a first come first served basis.

The Science of the Hubble Telescope
Monday 27th april, 12pm - 1pm
Thirty years on from its launch, this fascinating talk features some of the remarkable images captured by Hubble and explores the history and innovative technology of a telescope that has revolutionised our understanding of the Universe.
