The excitement began in February with the Miracle on the Severn exhibition and the Meet History event, which ran throughout Easter. During the May half term, Aerospace Bristol hosted ‘Bristol Cars and Remote Control Car Racing’. The museum also held its annual Car Show during Father’s Day weekend, featuring classic cars such as Jaguars, Aston Martins, Bristol Cars, and more.

In July, the museum hosted its most popular event of the year—Supersonic Brick Day. Held in partnership with the Bristol-based LEGO user group GertLUG, the event attracted nearly 2,000 visitors and featured interactive activities like robot wars and great ball contraptions.

A unique partnership with Bedminster-based Cameron Balloons brought Bristol's hot air ballooning history to life with the Look Up! exhibition in the Concorde Hangar. Highlights included iconic artefacts such as the original Bristol Belle—the first modern British hot air balloon—and parts of the Breitling Orbiter 3, the first balloon to circumnavigate the Earth.

In September, the museum commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Bristol Brabazon’s first flight in 1949 with the Brabazon75 exhibition. The exhibition showcased notable artefacts like the aircraft’s cockpit window and featured spotlight talks.

Finally, in October, Aerospace Bristol hosted its first-ever fashion exhibition, The Fashion of Flight, showcasing the evolution of British Airways cabin crew uniforms over eight decades.
