Unique cinema experience underneath Concorde at Aerospace Bristol

In partnership with Bristol Film Festival, Aerospace Bristol is set to host an extraordinary event: a screening of the beloved British classic The Italian Job beneath the last Concorde ever to fly. This special screening, scheduled for Thursday, 27th February, marks a unique celebration of two British icons that both made their debut in 1969.

The evening offers a multifaceted experience that elevates the traditional cinema outing. Attendees will begin their night with an opportunity to step aboard Concorde and watch fascinating archival footage of the aircraft’s maiden flight in 1969. The event also celebrates the intersection of British engineering and cinema, featuring a stunning display of both classic Mini Coopers and a MINI from Dick Lovett MINI Bristol.

Adding to the evening’s charm, guests can enjoy tastings from English winemaker Lyme Bay Winery, alongside an Italian wine tasting from DBM Wines—creating a perfect pairing for this quintessentially British film with its Italian setting.
